Micropigmentation
Micropigmentation is one of the permanent makeup applications. It is the process of processing natural and mineral dyes under the skin with micro sterile and disposable needles.
Micropigmentation is applied on facial areas such as eyebrows, eyes and lips. Over time, the person may feel uncomfortable in terms of aesthetics due to reasons such as eyebrows falling out or being too thin, and the lip line disappearing. It is also a very practical and useful method for those who do not want to spend too much time on makeup.
Micropigmentation is completely different from tattooing. Although it is called permanent makeup, it is removed naturally after a certain period of time. However, tattoo is permanent and can be removed with methods such as laser. Because the materials used in the tattoo process are different and the lower layers of the skin are treated.
Micropigmentation is performed with a device that can be used with needles of different thickness at the end. With these needles, shots are made and dye is injected where the shot is made. With the Long Time Liner technique, a natural appearance can be obtained in the procedure performed without incisions.
In the application, the area or areas to be micropigmented are determined. If micropigmentation is to be performed for eyebrows, measurements are made and shaped according to the face and the person’s wishes. The same procedure is performed for lip and eyeliner application. After the procedure, which is performed painlessly by applying anesthetic cream to the area to be treated, slight redness and swelling may be seen. The person can return to normal life after the procedure. The important thing in the micropigmentation process is to achieve a natural appearance suitable for the face. It is also very important that the materials used are of high quality, natural and hygienic. However, the experience and skill of the person performing the procedure is also an important factor affecting the result. After the procedure, there will be crusting in the micropigmentation area. However, these crusts should never be plucked, should not be touched and hygiene should be taken care of. After the application, the person can get permanent and successful results with the care and applications recommended by the specialist. It shows permanence between 2 and 5 years depending on the application area and the skin structure of the person.
Micropigmentation and microblading are often compared with each other in permanent makeup applications. In the microblading process, there is a very small knife at the tip. With this knife, small incisions are made on the eyebrow parts and then these incisions are painted. Especially in microblading hair technique for permanent eyebrow makeup, each eyebrow is drawn and painted one by one and a natural eyebrow appearance is obtained. Although the permanence of the applications differ from each other, the skin structure of the person and the person who applies it are important for the result. In short, both applications have different advantages. Here, the preference and needs of the person affect which application to choose.
With micropigmentation, natural-looking coloring is applied to the face and the time spent for make-up is further reduced. Permanent makeup application is very practical and useful for people with a busy life pace. In addition, the parts that disturb the person aesthetically can be given the desired shape with small touches.
